I write the guides at My Rome Life. I'm a licensed NCC (private hire) driver with the City of Rome for over 10 years — and I know the city from the perspective of someone who drives it every day, not just as a tourist.
I started driving in Rome when the ZTL traffic zones were still experimental. Today I know every gate, every hotel with permitted access, every shortcut between Fiumicino and the centre that avoids the GRA traffic. What I write comes from thousands of real transfers — not from Google Maps.
My Rome Life is my editorial project: practical, verified guides written for the traveller who wants to understand how Rome actually works — not just what to see. No hidden sponsored articles, no paid placements, no "top 10 trattorias" copied from TripAdvisor.
